Introduction to the experiment.

Welcome.

I started this blog to write down some ideas about the Ingress app.

To begin, there's only the first drafts of a log to unveil how the "red boxes" work.
According to some other agents, it is still unknown how these containers work, beyond "they multiply whatever you put inside". We have no idea of the precise algorithm that they work on, but there are some educated guesses about it.
I've decided to step away from the chaos of having multiple sources with uneven data, and set a simple methodology to acquire as much information as possible.

Scenario 1: (just started)
Capsule with 50 objects:

10 x L1 Resonator
10 x L1 XMP Burster
10 x L1 Ultra Strike
10 x Portal Shield común
10 x L1 Power Cube

Scenario 2: (just started)
Capsule with 80 objects:

10 x L1 Resonator
10 x L2 Resonator
10 x L3 Resonator
10 x L4 Resonator
10 x L5 Resonator
10 x L6 Resonator
10 x L7 Resonator
10 x L8 Resonator

Methodology:
Mantain a log of changes after every click (5 hours) of game time, according to the Intel tab in the app.

If anyone wishes to adhere to the experiment or has any suggestions of different scenarios that can contrast how multiplication affects different items, I'll thank you sharing the data so that I can add them to the regular posts in this blog.
